FINANCE & WEALTH MANAGEMENT
March 2023
Recent years have seen the number of affluent and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) increasing dramatically, with the number of millionaires now thought to total almost 65 million globally. Around a third of these come just from the US and China alone, while the UK and Switzerland are among the countries with the highest density of millionaires globally. As such, there is an increasing need for these wealthy individuals to engage with wealth managers and investment firms to help them protect and further grow their assets.
This survey was completed by 100 affluent and High Net Worth Individuals in the UK, 100 in the US and 102 in Switzerland in October 2022. The overall sample was weighted approximately 2:1 by gender (62% male, 38% female), age (69% 45+ years, 31% under 45 years), and investible assets (converted to USD 67% above 1m, 33% below 1m).
